The 2024 edition of the Indigenous Mentorship and Paid Research Experience for Summer Students (IMPRESS) kicked off last month, welcoming 19 students to �鶹Լ�� for the summer. Run by Branches, �鶹Լ��'s Community Outreach Program, IMPRESS aims to create a unique space for Indigenous youth, empowering them to overcome barriers and thrive academically while fostering Indigenous perspectives and knowledge in the research community.

This new report is the result of work by the Indigenous Health Research Program of the Unité de Soutien (SSA) of Quebec, the Department of Family Medicine at �鶹Լ��, Joyce’s Principle, and the Tahatikonhsontóntie' Quebec Network Environment for Indigenous Health Research (Qc-NEIHR).

Minnie Grey amongst Upcoming Honorary Doctorates 2024

Born in Kangirsuk, on the western shore of Ungava Bay, Minnie Grey has spent nearly 40 years advocating for the health and well-being of Inuit and the Inuit ways of life in various polar regions.

On Tuesday June 4th 2024 at 3pm, Minnie Grey will be presented with an Honorary Doctor of Laws (LL.D.) at the School of Continuing Studies at �鶹Լ��.
