Most of the Environment degree programs (except for the BA&Sc Interfaculty Program) require that you also choose an area of specialization called a Concentration. If you are uncertain of which Concentration to follow, you can add your Concentration later on. As well, you can change your Concentration later if you change your mind.
Wed, 09 Dec 2020 21:40:30 +0000 hong.zhu3@mcgill.ca 2815 at /environment Current students /environment/undergraduate-studies/current-students
The Bieler School of Environment team teaching model is unusual in that it involves a sustained dialogue among two to three instructors representing a range of disciplines and perspectives throughout each of the seven core courses with each faculty present and engaged throughout the course. This format of classroom instruction assures that undergraduate students quickly recognize the multiple perspectives that surround each topic under discussion.
Mon, 31 Jul 2017 00:05:51 +0000 leah.hendriks@mcgill.ca 1548 at /environment Future students /environment/undergraduate-studies/future-students
We believe that individual achievement is maximized by a dynamic, interactive community where dialogue occurs among engaged students, staff and faculty from all disciplines. Thus, the Bieler School of Environment approach is student-centred and in a manner that bridges the social sciences and humanities with the natural and applied sciences.
Sun, 30 Jul 2017 14:40:38 +0000 leah.hendriks@mcgill.ca 1546 at /environment Courses /environment/bieler-school-environment-courses
The Bieler School of Environment offers several courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Many are open to all Â鶹ԼÅÄ students, while some are restricted to students in Bieler School of Environment programs.

Our courses are team-taught, with several professors from different fields present in the class. This way students are exposed to a wider range of expertise than in a course with a single professor. Students (and professors!) also find it interesting to see how experts in different fields approach problems with differing sets of intellectual tools and assumptions.
Mon, 07 Feb 2011 19:13:19 +0000 kathryn.roulet@mcgill.ca 39 at /environment Undergraduate Programs /environment/undergraduate-studies/undergraduate-programs
The Bieler School of Environment team teaching model is unusual in that it involves a sustained dialogue among two to three instructors representing a range of disciplines and perspectives throughout each of the seven core courses with each faculty present and engaged throughout the course.
