On behalf of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Faculty of Medicine Office of Continuing Professional Development, I invite you to join us for the 2016-2017as well as our online program, theΜύ Through the concerted efforts of our dynamic scientific committee and guest faculty, supported by our dedicated administrative staff, we have created a program whose aim is to serve the educational needs of family physicians, other specialists, and allied health care professionals.Μύ Through our varied and stimulating content, including 46 lectures within 14 different disciplines, we seek to fulfil our mission of supporting physicians in caring for diverse patient populations.
Our courses are designed to fit the learner.Μύ For individuals who prefer in-person learning, the TELS course can be attended in person at the McIntyre Building on Thursday evenings.Μύ For those who favour the convenience and flexibility of a webinar, TELS can also be viewed live online via our website.Μύ The WELS course is accessed exclusively online on Wednesdays at the lunch hour.Μύ In an era of rapidly changing medical knowledge, where continuing professional development is crucial for the maintenance of competence and mandatory for licensure, both courses meet the accreditation criteria of The College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.Μύ As such, participants may claim Mainpro+ or MOC Section 1 credits.Μύ I invite you to consult our website
