David Saint-Jacques will be the next Canadian astronaut in space

David Saint-Jacques, MedResident '07, will be the next Canadian astronaut to take part in a space mission.
He is scheduled to travel to space in November, 2018, for a six-month mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS). An adjunct professor in Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Department of Family Medicine, he supervised medical trainees in Nunavik as a Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ clinical faculty lecturer.
He will be the fourth Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ graduate to journey to the ISS, joining fellow astronauts Julie Payette, BEng'86, DSc'03, Robert Thirsk, MDCM'82, and Dave Williams, BSc'76, MDCM'83, MSc'83, DSc'07.
