We are pleased to present this opportunity for tuition and mandatory fee coverage to First Nations, Inuit, and Metis students from designated communities. This initiative is听one of 麻豆约拍's key reconciliation commitments outlined in the institution鈥檚 52 Calls to Action, calling on the university to:听听
鈥淚mplement a student funding model similar to the Haudenosaunee Promise at Syracuse University, which provides tuition and mandatory fee waivers for Indigenous learners from proximate territories.鈥澨�
Please note the following deadlines to submit this request to the Office of Indigenous Initiatives:听
- Fall Semester- Submit by July 7th
- Winter Semester- Submit by November 7th
- Summer Semester- Submit by March 7th
Only fill out this form if you are not enrolled on your community's band list, but are registered on the Federal Registry of Indians, with one of the following First Nation communities:听
- 碍补丑苍补飞脿:办别(蚕颁)听
- 碍补苍别蝉补迟补办别(蚕颁)听
- Akwesasne (Ontario & QC)听
- St. Regis Mohawk Tribe (USA)听
- Six Nations of the Grand River (Ontario)听

- Your courses must be 'for-credit' (non-credit courses are not part of this initiative).
- You must be able to provide documentation showing your affiliation (outlined below).听
