For Summer 2021, the Faculty of Science requires all project proposals to include a project the student can start and finish remotely.
Fri, 19 Feb 2021 20:38:21 +0000 stephanie.zazzera@mcgill.ca 2424 at /meteo Trace Metal Chemistry in Atmosphere and Atmosphere-Ice-Water-Snow Interfaces /meteo/facultystaff/ariya/trace-metal-chemistry
Kinetic and mechanistic study of oxidation-reduction mechanisms of mercury
Mon, 15 Jun 2015 14:15:31 +0000 michael.havas@mcgill.ca 2017 at /meteo Research /meteo/facultystaff/ariya/research
Our research is in the field of physical chemistry and analytical chemistry of relevance to the atmosphere and atmospheric interfaces (air/water/ice/snow). It focuses on the understanding of selected chemical transformations of organic compounds, as well as the understanding of trace metal pollutants in the atmosphere and at atmosphere/water/snow interfaces. Identifying such atmospheric processes can also be significant in understanding the complexity of air pollution and health hazards including airborne particulate matter (aerosols).
Mon, 15 Jun 2015 14:06:02 +0000 michael.havas@mcgill.ca 2016 at /meteo Research /meteo/aos-research
Research at our department is organised into four themes. Our four themes span a broad range of research topics canvassing topics in the study of weather and weather forecasting as well as pressing current environmental and climate issues. Many faculty members work covers more than one theme, encouraging cross-disciplinary collaboration. Click on links provided below to find out more.
Wed, 03 Jul 2013 14:55:04 +0000 michael.havas@mcgill.ca 1491 at /meteo Research Highlights /meteo/aos-research/highlights
This area of our website puts the focus on our faculty and students in their accomplishments.
