Overview

Environment : Impacts of globalization upon coastal and resource-based communities in terms of relationships between the environment, new technologies and global market. Emphasis is on the complexity of change and the conflicts and compromises inevitable in global-local interactions.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2010-2011 academic year.

  • Students must enroll in Bay of Fundy Field Semester. Offered on Bay of Fundy only.
  • Prerequisites: ENVR 201, ENVR 203 and ENVR 202 or permission of instructor
  • Corequisites: GEOG 497 and CANS 407 and ENVR 466
