Historique : The history of the evolution of ideas about the human body, disease and therapeutics and the diverse practices of medicine in Western Europe in the 16th and 17th centuries, with particular attention to their social, political, cultural and religious context.

  • Priority is given to students in Honours History, students registered for the Minor in Social Studies of Medicine, and graduate students in History, Medical Anthropology, and Medical Sociology
