Overview

Hispanic Studies (Arts) : This course explores queerness as identity, aesthetics, and theory in Iberian society and cultureβ€”literary, visual, audial, and digital. Readings will include cultural texts, performances, theoretical works by major queer and gender theorists, and case studies. The goal of this course is for students to gain a critical understanding of queerness as form, theory, and practice, through the lens of Iberian cultural production.
