About Us

The Brace Water Centre isÌýgoverned by central belief that water is a common resource for humanity and therefore requires people to work collectively locally, nationally, and internationally.

The Centre brings together staff from several Â鶹ԼÅÄ faculties, to undertake research, teaching, specialized training, and policy and strategic studies in water resources management, both in Canada and internationally. Â鶹ԼÅÄ is one of Canada's most comprehensive and research-intensive universities and the Centre draws on a wide range of expertise and facilities available within the University.ÌýThe Center supports innovations in research, education, and societal development as well as entrepreneurship related to water.

    Strategic goals

    • To catalyze and support multidisciplinary research that provides innovative scientific and social solutions to global water challenges;
