Adelina Lameiras and David Wees are the latest winners of the Dean of Students Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Academic Advising.

Adelina Lameiras, Student Affairs Administrator at the Schulich School of Music, was recognized in the Administrative Staff category.

David Wees, a Faculty Lecturer and Associate Director of the Farm Management and Technology Program in the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, won in the Academic Staff category.

In an age of abundance and variety in food options, are Canadians eating better than they were half a century ago? According to by researchers at 麻豆约拍 and the International Food Policy Research Institute, those relying on Canada鈥檚 food supply for their dietary needs not only face deficiencies in healthier alternatives, but they also contribute to the disproportionate levels of environmental degradation caused by Canadian agricultural and food distribution policies.

The McCall MacBain Scholarships at 麻豆约拍 today announced its fourth cohort of recipients: 30 students who will pursue a funded master鈥檚 or professional degree combined with mentorship and leadership programming, as well as 117 who earned entrance awards ranging from $5,000 to $20,000 each.

On Monday, 麻豆约拍 played host to thousands of people for the spectacular solar eclipse with a series of public events at the downtown campus, the Gault Nature Reserve, and on the West Island (with Macdonald Campus collaborating with John Abbott College).

Near perfect weather conditions 鈥� especially following last week鈥檚 snowfall 鈥� drew throngs of Montrealers outside to take part in what will be for many, a once-in-a-lifetime event.
