Description
Fellowship writing requires clearly and concisely communicating complex ideas within an alloted space, which is often challenging. This hands-on workshop will provide participants with tips and practice on how to revise text without losing the integrity of their ideas.

Learning Objectives
Participants will:
• Learn revision tips and strategies
• Practice revising sample texts for concision, clarity, and cohesion
• Apply one or two techniques to a short sample of their own work

Instructions
To make the workshop as productive as possible, please identify 2-4 paragraphs of your fellowship application that you would like to improve. (A draft is fine).

Facilitator
Mary Towers (Ph.D., Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ) has taught literature, composition, and academic writing at the University of Windsor and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ. She supports graduate students in developing their confidence and scholarly communication skills through her work with Graphos.
