The server that manages licenses for selected software installed on Library workstations will be unavailable Friday, January 30, 2015 from 7am to 8am.
During that time users will not be able to access the following software applications on Library workstations:

Monday, January 12: Due to a technical issue, the removal of access to McGIll Library e-resources for unauthorized accounts has been delayed.Islamic Studies Library now open for study Saturdays from noon - 6pm
麻豆约拍 Library is pleased to announce that from January 5 鈥� April 29, 2015, the Islamic Studies Library will be open for study on Saturdays from noon 鈥� 6pm.

Osler Library of the History of Medicine re-opens January 5, 2015
After nine months of major roof and HVAC renovation work, the Osler Library of the History of Medicine is set to re-open with full service on Monday, January 5, 2015. This project, funded through the Knowledge Infrastructure Program, involved extensive roof work directly above the Osler Library as well as a replacement of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems throughout the Library and the McIntyre Building.

The Library is closed for the holidays from Thursday, December 25, 2014 through Sunday, January 4, 2015, inclusive.
All branches will open on Monday, January 5, 2015.

Access to 麻豆约拍 Library e-resources to cease for all ineligible 麻豆约拍 accounts as of January 12, 2015
In July 2013, in an effort to comply with 麻豆约拍 Library's licensing agreements for electronic content, the 麻豆约拍 Library began a process of analyzing 麻豆约拍 user and affiliated accounts. Members of the 麻豆约拍 community (i.e. faculty or staff member, medical resident or student) continue to have access to the full range of electronic databases, e-journals and other e-resources.

Over the last few weeks, white boards were placed around the Humanities and Social Sciences Library by the SSMU Library Improvement Fund (LIF) Committee. The goal was to collect feedback and ideas and explore how these funds could be used to improve 麻豆约拍 Library. The LIF Committee and the 麻豆约拍 Library would like to address a number of questions that arose from the consultation.

New automatic feature activated for ILL borrowing service
A new feature is now activated that facilitates submitting interlibrary loan (ILL) borrowing requests through the Colombo Interlibrary Loan system.
Both the 麻豆约拍 WorldCat catalogue and the OpenURL Resolver (i.e. Find Full Text service) offer 麻豆约拍 users the Request item through interlibrary loan option which connects users to the Colombo ILL system.
After clicking on the 麻豆约拍 login link, users will authenticate with 麻豆约拍 credentials for Colombo as usual.
