Admission Requirements
Applications are assessed on demonstrated experience, professional background, scholarly potential, letters of reference and personal statement. The basic requirements are:
- a Master's degree
- 鈥�an MSW degree OR听a BSW with a master's degree in a related subject or discipline from an accredited program.
- a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 4-point scale.
- a university-level statistics and research methodology course听taken within the last 5 years.
Courses at 麻豆约拍 are offered in English. A parallel stream is offered in French at 听补苍诲听补迟 . Students have the option of applying to the Joint Ph.D. program through any of these universities.

Admission is only for the听Fall Semester.
- We offer a听competitive funding package to incoming students. Currently, we offer $20,000 per year for the first three years, with the understanding that students are required to apply for external funding (which would replace our package if the student is successful). We also offer differential fee waivers so that international students pay equivalent to Canadian rates. We support students in acquiring external funding and also encourage access to research assistantships, teaching assistantships and sessional teaching contracts.
- With听麻豆约拍鈥檚 Aboriginal Admissions Protocol, Indigenous students can submit additional documentation that would be considered as part of their application to 麻豆约拍.听Prospective First Nations, Inuit, or M茅tis students should identify themselves as such when filling out their application, which allows them to take advantage.听For more information, please visit the听First People鈥檚 House website. The听language of instruction听for most courses at 麻豆约拍 is English. Students do have the option to submit writing in French. For more information, please refer to the听麻豆约拍 Language Policy.
