June 15-19 Catalogue System Updates: Avoid using sign-in button or logging in to access 鈥淢y Account鈥� in WorldCat Discovery
麻豆约拍 Library will be performing a system update in WorldCat Discovery from Monday, June 15 to Friday, June 19. All Library users are asked to avoid using the 鈥淪ign In鈥� button or logging in to "My Account" from WorldCat Discovery during this period. Please note that this includes logins for the purpose of saving searches.
All checked out items due between March 1 - September 14 automatically renewed to mid-September
The Library has聽automatically renewed聽all checked-out items that were originally due between March 1, 2020 and September 14, 2020. The new due date for these materials will be September 15.

- The Library鈥檚 physical branches are closed in conformance with government and campus directives until further notice. No fines will be accrued during this time.聽

Access millions of items from 麻豆约拍鈥檚 print collection through new HathiTrust emergency service
In response to COVID-19, HathiTrust Digital Library has made over two million books from 麻豆约拍 Library鈥檚 print collection available online for all 麻豆约拍 students, faculty, and staff. The Emergency Temporary Access Service (ETAS) includes in-copyright material. The new service provides remote access to over half of 麻豆约拍鈥檚 print collection.
New in WorldCat Discovery: browse 麻豆约拍鈥檚 e-resources collection virtually
Discover 麻豆约拍 Library鈥檚 e-resources collection serendipitously online through WorldCat Discovery鈥檚 new 鈥淏rowse the Shelf鈥� accordion tool.
To use the browse option, access WorldCat Discovery, open the detailed view of the item record, and click 鈥淏rowse the Shelf鈥�.

PressReader access during the Library closure period
Due to the 麻豆约拍 VPN being currently unavailable as a method to access Library e-resources, users can access PressReader through a web browser.
Now Available: COVID 19 - Temporary Open & Free Resources
In order to support the 麻豆约拍 community and it聽moves聽towards remote instruction & learning聽during the COVID-19 crisis, many publishers are offering some or all of their e-resources freely for a period of a few months. 麻豆约拍 Library has put together a list of these publishers and their 鈥榦pen鈥� or freely available resources on a dedicated webpage.
Request access to essential print research materials during Library COVID-19 closure before Thursday, March 19 at noon
Update, March 19, 12:00 pm: The request period is now over.
The Library is offering a one-time retrieval service聽for research print materials from all downtown libraries to members of the 麻豆约拍 community. Only items that can normally circulate will be retrieved.
For materials located at downtown library branches:
Access e-resources via the catalogue or Databases A-Z. E-resources temporarily unavailable via VPN.
To support 麻豆约拍鈥檚 closure, the campus is making some technical changes to the VPN to allow it to scale up for a larger number of users. A side effect of these changes is that most electronic resources will not be accessible via the VPN for the time being.
