Redpath Study Hubs open Sundays during exam period
The Redpath Study Hub will be open on Sundays during the month of December (Dec. 6, 13, 20).
The following time slots are available for booking:
- Redpath Library Building, second floor -Â 10:30 AM to 3:30 PMÂ
- Redpath Library Building, main floor - 11:00Â AMÂ to 4:00 PM
- Redpath Library Building, Cyberthèque, ground floor - 11:30 AM to 4:30 PMÂ
Pay overdue fines online through your Library account
As of December 3, Â鶹ԼÅÄ Library users can pay their full fines balance online via credit card (Visa or Mastercard) through their library account. Users can also pay by phone by asking to speak to a supervisor who can receive payment by credit card. Visit our dedicated webpage for payment instructions or more information on overdue fines.
Library workshops and tours website unavailable Tuesday, November 17, between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM

Coming winter 2021: Library single point of fulfillment for digital course packs & electronic course reserves
In order to make course materials more affordable for students and to streamline the course pack creation process for faculty and instructors, Â鶹ԼÅÄ has transferred responsibility for all course readings to the Â鶹ԼÅÄ Library. As of January 2021, the Â鶹ԼÅÄ Library will be the single point of access for course-related materials including digital course packs.
Study Hubs expand to the second floor of the Redpath Library Building starting November 9
The Library is pleased to announce that beginning Monday, November 9, students can take advantage of more study hub seating on the second floor of the Redpath Library Building. 172 additional seats will be available for booking Monday - Friday from 10:30AM to 3:30PM. Â鶹ԼÅÄ students can book a hub seat in advance through an online booking system as of Wednesday, November 4, 2020.
Redpath & Law Library Study Hubs and ROAAr Rare Materials Consultation Room to operate at reduced capacity starting October 5
In accordance with Quebec Public Health directives, the University is scaling back certain in-person activities including the Study Hubs and the ROAAr Rare Materials Consultation Room.

Please note that Study Hubs, ROAAr Rare Materials Consultation Room, and the Virtual Reference Service will not be available on Monday, October 12 in observance of Thanksgiving Day.
Interlibrary Loan borrowing service now available
Â鶹ԼÅÄ students, faculty and staff can now use the Interlibrary Loans (ILL) service to borrow some physical materials not available at the Â鶹ԼÅÄ Library.
Remote access to Library public workstations for Â鶹ԼÅÄ students, faculty, staff now available
Â鶹ԼÅÄ students, faculty and staff can now connect remotely to Library workstations in order to use specialized software that may not be available on personal computers. Use Â鶹ԼÅÄ IT's AnyDesk Service to locate an available library workstation.
Study Hubs expand to include work spaces at Macdonald Campus
The Library is pleased to announce that beginning September 14, students on Macdonald Campus can take advantage of a study hub located in "The Link" area of the Barton Building. The Macdonald Campus Study Hub is re-imagined safe space designed for quiet and individual study.

Dataverse, a local solution for research data management and archiving is now available at Â鶹ԼÅÄ. Â鶹ԼÅÄ faculty, students, researchers and staff are welcome to deposit datasets in the Â鶹ԼÅÄ Dataverse repository. All data are stored securely on servers located in Canada. Data can be publicly accessible, available to specific individuals, or private/restricted.
